I endeavour to reply in 2-3 working days.

Please note I am unable to take phone calls, as I am usually on home visits.  If you would like to discuss your pet's behaviour or options in more depth, please  request to book an 30min initial phone call ($110). This cost can be deducted from a Behaviour Home Visit or Telemedicine Booking.

To make best use of the time please submit your request via the message box on this website (under Contact), or email at cate@engagevetbehaviour.com.au , and indicate that you are wanting a 30min phone appointment at $110 incl  GST. Add some time windows where you would be available to book a phone call. I will send an email link to book the phone appointment when we agree on a time. 

If you need a $680 Behaviour Home Visit or Telemedicine Booking after the phone call, then it is possible to upgrade.

1. VETERINARY BEHAVIOUR HOME VISIT (AND INITIAL TRAINING INCLUDED) $680 incl GST

This includes:

*Initial detailed questionnaire 

*Travel if less than 25km from Kenmore Post Office or Grantham, or 10km from Toowoomba 

*2-2.5 hour home visit

*Detailed written report and treatment plan

*20min phone revisit at 2 weeks and 4 weeks from the home visit - NOTE IF THESE ARE NOT NEEDED OR BOOKED BY THE CLIENT, THEN THESE PHONE REVISITS CANNOT BE REFUNDED OR EXTENDED. These are to assist the treatment plan in the following 4 weeks from the home visit.

NOTE  - PRESCRIPTIONS AND FURTHER REVIEW APPOINTMENTS ARE NOT INCLUDED 

Prescription fees are not included

These are $35 for a single script emailed and posted to a chemist of your choice, or $60 for multiple scripts to the same chemist.

If medication is prescribed, a further review appointment should generally be anticipated at approximately two months after the initial home visit. 

Further reviews may initially be required at approximately three-month intervals while medication is being adjusted.

Once medication and dosage are stable, reviews can generally be extended to six-monthly.

If you are not able to budget for the 2.5 hour consultation with follow-up, I provide the following 30-60 minute appointments. I can provide some immediate management and behaviour modification plans. In some cases, this will be all you need for puppy or adolescent advice or training.  However, long-standing behaviour problems often need a more detailed investigation and a more ongoing treatment plan.

• Detailed questionnaire and preparation
• 1 hour telehealth - zoom/phone
• Problem solving and immediate management and strategies, initial training 
• Shorter written report 
• If you need a $680 package after the phone call, then it is possible to upgrade.

NOTE - NOT FOR DOGS WITH AGGRESSIVE BEHAVIOURS - these dogs require a full behaviour consultation above

Travel included in much of  the Brisbane region, Ipswich, Lockyer Valley or Toowoomba for initial home-visits(within 25km of Kenmore Village Post Office)
