My new FaceBook page is not a page of snippets of magic solutions. I show modern reward based behaviour modification that I teach my clients to help their dogs, and show their success. Every dog and family combination is different and I take detailed history and offer generous follow-up so that I can best provide solutions tailored for your family.
Let me help you set up your dog for success! I can help you with life skills or training for you and your puppy, adolescent or adult dog.
I can help you understand why your puppy or adolescent is doing what he or she is doing, and advise you on useful environmental management, behaviour modification strategies and general training that will assist your life together.
Teaching is by using positive reinforcement methods of luring, shaping or capturing a behaviour, and then rewarding baby steps towards the final behaviour.

I have competed in dog-sports of obedience and tracking for the last ten years. Are you are interested in learning how to teach your dog obedience behaviours or how to search for scents? Once your dog "learns how to learn" and you learn how to teach him, you will be able to teach him or her many new behaviours easily. This can be just for fun or for competition, but the goal is to enrich your dog's life, to improve their confidence as they develop more control over their environment, and to develop the bond with your dog. Training games can also provide an outlet if you are unable to walk your dog.
